È un altro dei sentieri, immersi nel verde, realizzati nel corso degli ultimi anni in diverse zone della valle. Esso traversa lungamente, in falsopiano o in leggera discesa, la china boscosa che sovrasta il paese da borgata Mühlbach a borgata Ecche.

This building, owned by C.A.I. of Sappada, is dedicated to the memory of a heroic patriot from Sappada, Pier Fortunato Calvi. It is the highest shelter in the region and is located in a fantastic position: to the east it is enclosed by the splendid amphitheatres of the Chiadenis and the Pic, to the north by the impressive mass of the Peralba, and in the other direction it overlooks, like an eagle’s nest, the rocky coast running from Lastoni to the distant Rinaldo group.

These relics of the Great War stand on steep, grassy slopes that lie to the left of the scree of the south wall of Chiadenis.These bastions, in ruins until a dozen years ago, were brought partially back to their original condition on the initiative of the Veneto Region.

A short distance from the centre of Sappada, the river of Mulino (Mühlbach) runs through a steep, narrow corridor as it rages towards the confluence with the Piave, running into a ridge of rocks of around twenty metres and creating the Cascades.

The village called Cima is perhaps the most evocative of all, both for the secluded location and for the environment that inspires serenity and peace, in short, a dream village suspended between the valley of the Piave and that of the Degano, between Cadore and Carnia.

The name says it all:what could Miravalle be, other than an enchanting belvedere of the valley and mountains that form the backdrop to the south?Which is exactly what it is:a natural terrace located on one of the numerous ridges of Hochbolt, a short distance from Piani di Gront and the Sappada 2000 chairlift station upstream from the first pylon.

The provincial road no. 22 of Val Sesis, after the first narrow series of steep bends, suddenly opens onto a wide and very long plain whose northern border is formed by the so-called Pian delle Bombarde and the southern by the Piani del Cristo. The spot takes its name from the Crucifix that stands at the start of the plateau immediately after the bridge. The beautiful building of the shelter is a couple of yards away.

Il rifugio, sorge in posizione quanto mai amena su una ridente e solatia china prativa poco sopra la stazione d’arrivo della dismessa seggiovia, sovrastata dai contrafforti e dalla parete rocciosa dell’omonimo monte e proprio di fronte a tutta la bella sequenza di vette che dalla Terza Piccola giunge al Cimon passando per il Clap, il Siera, la Creta Forata .
