Wandelingen in North

Eine abenteuerliche, schweißtreibende Wanderung im Mae Surin Nationalpark. Es geht über Stock und Stein, durch Wasser und über Felsen. Autenthischer kann man die Natur auf eigene Faust in Nordthailand nicht erleben!

Schöne 3 Stunden Wanderung mit tollen Aussichten und Pause im Kaffeebauerndorf. Ein paar steile Auf- und Abstiege, etwas Kondition und gute Wanderschuhe sind zu empfehlen. Am Start- und Endpunkt gute Parkmöglichkeiten am Campingplatz.

Von Khun Wang über den Doi Inthanon nach Khun Klang

This hike is a great intermediate hike into the Thai jungle with an amazing temple as a reward for reaching the top!

The town of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand serves as a base for some great trekking out into the rural far-north. For three days we trekked through this seemingly unspoiled corner of Thailand, spending each night at remote hilltribe villages.

Parking at a small shop/restaurant, this loop takes you on dirt paths, very quiet roads and a small amount of jungley footpaths.  It takes you to to 2 dams and reservoirs too!

A shorter loop around the hill.You can walk across the dams and back if you wish, to extend the route.  Lots of other options of course.Parking at the start point is a good spot.  Even if the gate is open on the dam road, I would suggest still parking at the Start point marked as the parking across the dam is for the workers there.

Nice route around the reservoir and down some of the well trodden walking paths.Pretty flat so is ideal for beginners.The walking paths to the south of the reservoir are pretty wide, but you may get the odd web or two crossing your path - so a stick can come in handy.A coffee shop can be found near the end of the loop by the main camping area.Deceptively, you may be greeted by cows at the start - but dogs rule the roost here at the dam - so bring some doggy snacks to make friends!
