Wandelingen in Cotswold

Wunderschöne Wanderung mit tollen Ausblicken am nördlichen Ende der Cotswolds mit einem Besuch beim Broadway Tower.

A circular walk through the rural tranquillity of the Cotswold countryside visiting three iconic villages and picturesque Bourton on the Water. 

Following the Cotswold Way from the small town of Winchcombe through Hailes and its ruined abbey, past Breckbury Camp and down into the villages of Wood Stanton, Stanway and Stanton. A climb up and over Shenberrow hill brings you into the bustling town of Broadway.

From Chipping Campden, you enter classic Cotswold scenery as you traverse the open countryside with panoramic views and visit picture-perfect villages.

A short walk from Stanton takes you to Stanway then ascends steeply above Wood Stanway to Beckbury Camp for good views over the surrounding countryside. From here you descend to Hailes Abbey and the gentle stroll into Winchcombe.

Starting in Moreton-in-Marsh you wind your way through fields and over streams to Longborough, a typical Cotswolds village. From here you will pass through Broadwell to Stow-on-the-Wold, through more farmers fields and small paths to Lower Slaughter where you will follow the river to Bourton-on-the-Water.

A ramble fro users of mobility scooters - Walking with Wheels. A circular ramble from Sudeley Castle or Winchcombe A RADAR (disable toilet) key is needed.

This is a classic Cotswold escarpment ridge walk, with panoramic views along the route into Birdlip.

Starting in Bourton-on-the-Water you will follow the Windrush river upstream to Naunton, passing through woods and fields before continuing to on to Guiting Power. From here you head north, passing through woodland and the edge of the Farmcote Estate before descending towards Winchcombe past Sudley House.

A short walk from Cleeve Hill follows the edge of the Cotswolds down to Prestbury Hill Nature Reserve. A gradual descent leads through the classic Cotswold countryside to the small town of Charlton Kings.
